You should take a look at the PSO Uncoated v3.icc profile.
Plot the neutral curves and you’ll see that the relative is just as shaped and
idealised as the perceptual.
You can’t get anywhere close to these using the 52 data.
The perceptual rendering of shadow detail in low key black and white images is
superb… and impossible to match in an RGB to CMYK conversion no matter what
settings you use to build your own profile :(
