My i1 didn't come with a ruler, since it's dongled for screen profiling only.
Blessedly ther's Argyll CMS :)
I'm using a slicer like this

I've added some foam plastic to my i1, so nothing gets scratches.
But what about the background? The standard ruler is transparent, the new i2 v2
ruler has a white background.
With thin paper, the blue background from the slicer might shine through...
this will fake the results, won't it?
Would it be possible to measure the background and set a different whitepoint?
Wouldn't a gray background be better for measurements?
