As for link, the example workflow:
extracticc image.tif image.icc
tiffgamut -ir -pj -cmt image.icc image.tif
collink -v -G"image.gam" -ip -P -cmt -dmt image.icc display.icc link.icc
cctiff link.icc -d display.icc image.tif img2disp.tif
The result will be image with minimum detail clipping and maximum perceptual
equivalence to the original. Such image will be displayed properly by any
software, either color or non-color managed.
