I don't think that the sensitivity of the detector is as strongly affected by its temeprature as is its dark current. There is some effect (and the effect may be different at different wavelengths) but the dominant effect is a change in dark current. [ie. a CCD sensitivity change might be of the order of 0.75% per degree, while dark current is something like 17% per degree.] Graeme Gill.
