We are transitioning from another site AND taking the first steps of
program development with Arachne GPL. It may take some time to get it all
together. If you're looking for perfection, this isn't the place.

The Arachne list is mostly of interest to people who use Arachne as their
web browser. A minority of us find value in some of Arachne's other
features. All of us have an interest in DOS, since Arachne is not a
Windows-compatible program. Our other (non-computer) interests are part
of our lives, so some of that naturally bleeds over into the list dialog.
That's what makes this a "community" and not just a periodic FAQ sheet
distribution from a computer software company.

What is "worthwhile", like beauty, is in the eyes of the beholder.

I'm forwarding part of a reply from Ron Clarke to another list member
(posted on the previous list) as an example of something which I consider
to be very "worthwhile".

Maybe you'll also consider stuff like this to be "worthwhile" and decide
to stick around. If so, welcome. If not, then obviously you'll leave. If
you stay, just delete the email that isn't of interest and keep the gems
that occasionally show up in the INBOX.
