The standard JS engine is SpiderMonkey, open source, written in C.
There are instructions on how to embed the engine in an application.

What is needed is for someone with the ability and time to be
interested in accomplishing the task.

I'm sure this would take a great deal of time and ability. There appears
to be no interest among the qualified.

Maybe if you had a lot of money you could hire it done. Not very
likely that this will happen any time soon.
