Well, I did keep the applications apart, but I didn't count on the
!Boot.Choices file.

Not really. Having realised that there is a problem with the
!Boot.Choices.Antispam directory, I got hold of the old version of the
application, still safe where I left it (called !Antispamo), renamed the
new version, renamed the old version and recreated the
!Boot.Choices.Antispam directory with the required Config and Rules files,
making sure that any extra bits not applicable to 1.18 were removed.

Trouble was that, as you can see, I didn't clip the ! off, so I suspect
that something crossed over between the two, which was why I went off and
got hold of Dave's last stable version. Following the advice here, I upped
the Wimpslot for it and all now seems well. I'll see if that continues and
go for another attempt at 1.59, probably at the weekend when I have a bit
more time so I don't rush it.

Ta muchly for everyone's help. :)
