Do you mean you want help to write it yourself, or is this a polite way of asking for someone to write it for you? If you mean the former, then you will need to learn BASIC. Lots of us learned by buying a manual (still available on CD) and just trying it. (Whatever route you take, you will have to do a lot of "trying it" - ultimately it's the only way to learn anything). Lots of trial, almost as much error. Structured trial and error is very informative. There is also the RISC OS Academy on Paul Vigay's web site http://www.vigay.com which you might enquire about. Most people who've learned to programme find it very satisfying. I would encourage anyone to try - so long as they try seriously and not half-heartedly! When you get some degree of competence in the language, I'm sure there would be people happy to give you pointers or suggestions as to the general methods of solving your problem. If you are asking for someone to write it for you, I feel it's unlikely you would get any takers, as what you want is highly specialised. Dave
