[image: Amos Tea] Nancy Halder led a weekly Bible study for women from
First Mennonite Church, Iowa City, Iowa. This study of Amos, based on *Let
Justice Roll Down: Women Engaging the World, *the 2012 MW USA Bible Study
Guide provided opportunity for the women to learn about the
historical background of Amos' era. Many of the women expressed
appreciation for new thoughts and concepts about God. Read

The Veggie Tale videos for kids are delightfully entertaining. I love
watching them with little people but I have discovered the values they
teach are not just for children. There are hidden messages for adults in
the story line. My favorite is "Madame Blueberry". In this video, Madame
Blueberry goes on a shopping spree and buys everything in sight which
eventually leads to a crisis. When all the "stuff" is delivered, her tree
house becomes too heavy, tips over and crashes to the ground destroying all
her purchases.
I thought about this video a lot several years ago while I was placing all
our stuff into boxes in preparation for a move from a house we had lived in
for 44 years.
