Thank you. So my questions still go out to the other members either way I do it. By subscribing, all the messages come to my in-box; by registering, I go on-line to the discussion boards and look for either a topic or the answer to a question that I have previously asked. I'm sorry for sounding so ignorant, but the truth is that I am.

Registration involves participating on the discussion boards. You register to post. Questions go on the discussion board and also get sent to the list. People respond on the discussion boards.

Subscribing involves subscribing to the mailing list, which apparently you have done if you were able to send email to the list.

If you want your responses to only come in email, this is the way to do it. If you want it to only be on the discussion boards - then you register there. If you want both, do both ;)

Subject: [amayausers.com] help w/ using amayausers

I did not understand the answer in FAQ about needing to be
registered. I am told that it is unnecessary to register because I
can ask questions that I have using this address. Is this so? What
is the difference between subscribing and registering? What is the
advantage in registering? Please excuse my ignorance, but I have not
participated in one of these forums before and don't know how they
work. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Mother Kassiane
