[amayausers] failed to synchronize start

Hi everyone,
I stopped my machine to check something out. All I
did was hit the stop button (not the emergency
button)--I did not do anything else. When I went back
to hit the go button, nothing happened and I got a
"failed to synchronize start error". I could not get
the machine to continue after that. I had to shut it
and the OS down and restart both of them. Luckily it
was a test stitch I was doing. I searched the
archives for this error message and didn't find
anything. Does anyone know what this means and how I
could have gone about correcting it?
