T-Square?? Hmmm, I always thought that button looked more like a windshield wiper. Officially, it's called the Adjust Key (button) but it used to be called the ALT or Alternate button on older machines. Go figure. It is also shown on the little pull out cheat sheet located behind the white keypad. You have to move the 'bar' so that it interrupts the sewing and cuts the thread, then you should be able to change to the other needle by holding down the 'needle' button while you push the direction button to get to the new needle. Then use your stitch arrow button to back up a couple of stitches if needed. That will cover up the changeover and lock the threads down. Once that 'new' needle is done, it will automatically go to the next needle color in line. Once the design is done, you MUST go into the Amaya and do the needle change there-it will not go to your 'new' needle if you don't reset it. Don't forget to 'reset' or reload the design after changing to the new needle for the next sewout. I've done it for bad needle, wrong needle, or sometimes just to change colors if I wanted to.
