What brand of computer? I learned the my HP had to have a powered usb hub as
it would not recognize the USB connection from the Amaya when the Amaya was
off--which has to be off when you start the OS. A $20 powered hub solved my
problems--although it didn't grow back all of the hair I pulled out trying to
figure out the problem.
