Terri, Check the settings for Use Settings From Design being on. If it is on, turn it off. The settings in the file, or saved could be wrong and then configuring the machine accordingly. Also, there are new RSA/CSA files for the 6.08.522 software. I posted earlier the place to go download this patch. If you need it again, let know and I can steer you to the place to get it and get it installed correctly. Is it a one time thing? Loaded this version on PC, rebooted PC (Amaya was off). Edited and saved design in Design Shop. Opened OS, configured machine, checked the settings to make sure all thread detection, etc is on, everything was set as I wanted except I needed to turn on the maintenance times and make the hook type uncoated. Clicked OK after I looked at all the tabs in settings. Loaded Design, clicked radio button for auto Actifeed. (Just amazing, sewed on t-shirt, varied from 4 to 6 to 2 to 1. Went to the 2 then 1 after thread breaks. But I digress.) Finished sewing design. Edit same design and save. Load it in OS. Press Start and it sews all the way through. (I'm watching the MT and it stays at 5 the whole time.) When I go to pull the hoop off the machine I find that about 1/3 of the design has sewn the rest is a mass of thread dangling. So I ask myself what the heck! And why did the thread detection not stop the machine. Look at settings, and all things have been changed. i.e. Enable All Thread Detection is OFF. No one is here but me. I do think there is a gremlin. Reset settings to for thread detection ON. Load a different design, check settings and the detection is OFF. Any ideas? Why do I need to set the settings every time? Terri Embroidery Creations
