Herb,
No I did not uninstall the earlier version. It was my impression that an
update is just that, an update to a program.
I'm working with Windows XP, When I got ahold of tech support this
afternoon. The guy told me it was probably my ethernet card. A quick call to
my computer guy hit that in the head! Then late this pm, I received a call
back from the very first person in tech support that I talked to. Seems the
network we have required the computer to have two ethernet cards. Once the
other card was clicked on, force download checked and SURPRISE.... it
worked! However, in the meantime I had uninstalled and reinstalled both
Design Shop Pro and the OS several times. I now have the 2004 version -
working - and I really don't think I'm going to try the update again.
