Yes, the machine was still working. Just finished 500 caps on the 3 XT's and did a few jobs after that. It was getting close to where it was about to cust some bearings though so we caught it just in time. On another machine we had a gear drive about to break. I try to have preventative maintenance done on all my AMAYA's once a year so when I heard they were in town I asked them to come take a look and glad I did.
How I got the thread there I am not sure but I think a tall Madeira cone came unraveled enough to get caught and from there it just kept pulling it in until a made a big mess.
