OK, so this is what I ended up doing. First, I have several holes and they
need to end up different colors. And that was a problem! I copied the object
with the holes and deleted the outside line leaving only the holes. But they
are all connected and can't be separated, so when I go fill them with different
colors, that can't be done. I then, using the icon Convert Vector Object
To/From Embroidery, converted the holes to vectors. I could then Convert them
back to embroidery and color them individually and move them back over the
original.
Now ---- when I put a Pull Comp on the big original background, I can NOT get
the PC to work in the Y direction (north and south). The Pull Comp only works
in the X direction. I also tried doing the Pull Comp on the "holes" and that
didn't work either. Do you experience the same or is it only me?
