In my old version of DS Pro+, the easiest way was as follows:
1. select the filled shape, then click on the "hole" icon and create the hole.
2. copy and paste the shape with the hole, then delete the entire outer outline
of the new object leaving just the shape of the hole.
3. insert a color change between the two objects.
There is probably an easier way in the newer versions, but unless someone else
chimes in, this should work for you.
