Well, I only have one thing to say on this... learn how to sell value - not
price. You'll win out in the end. There will always be someone cheaper
than you are but if you know how to sell other aspects of your business
(quality, turn around, service, responsiveness, personal service - etc,
etc) you will obtain and keep the kind of customers that you'll actually
WANT over the long term.

Simply put, there is a point we won't go below because I know that company
XYZ wont do the job we do in the long run.

Cheers!

My point WAS that perhaps that's part of the reason their price is lower
and they are still in business. I was not the one to mention the made in
the US or not.

Anybody can get 'their own' branded label goods with large enough orders.
Sanmar does not own even a single mill, but they have 'their own' brand-
Port Authority, Sport Tek, Port & Company....all made by other companies
like Hanes, so on.
So they claim 'Port Authority' as their 'very own' etc. etc. but they don't
make it.
There are several USA made lines that will 'tag' your own name brand label
on
their product, minimums vary from a couple hundred pieces to hundreds of
dozens
per color per size, depends on the factory.
But if they really ARE making the goods in their own US Plant, they would
certainly
have that noted-many companies that I do work for now like to specify Made
In The USA
when they can get it.

I went with the quote "our very own" and the clothing had the same name as
their company. Even if they don't, right there, make their own, they are
still caming it as their line. Look again.

I did some more browsing, and no where did I find a claim that they 'make'
their own clothing...would be a rare claim for one company to actually
manufacture in one location everything from hats to polos to tees to suede
jackets...and nothing at all is labeled (that I could find anywhere) as
MADE IN THE USA...if you set up a 'website' using Sanmar web template, you
get the chance to have the same 'we create custom logo'd apparel' blah blah
blah...doesn't mean you actually made it!
I would think if they are the actual producer for their clothing, hats,
etc. they'd promote that in big print all over the place.
So don't let their hype fool you!
