We have found that if our customers run pre-wound bobbins the standard bobbin
case is ok, but if winding either metal or plastic bobbins, it is best to have
a bobbin case with the backlash spring in it.
We run custoomers machines at 1500 spm with metal bobbins and backlash springs,
without problems.
The part number from melco for the bobbin case with spring is 006919-01.
