Sharon - I've got two of them within 20 minutes of me and I lose zero sleep
over them. You've seen my setup - I can outbid them on everything and still
make a great profit. In fact, I have consider hanging fliers very close to
their stores advertising that I willl beat their prices to try and get business
from them.

They are inexperienced people that just think its completely turnkey with no
effort or experience needed. They hire 17-18 year old kids to man the shop and
the product quality is usually garbage.

I went into one and asked for simple text on a structured hat. They quoted
me $19 for 1 with no discount unless I bought at least 5. There was no setup
except typing in some text in a standard font.

Don't worry about EmbroidMe. You might actually gain business from them once
people check out their prices.

  best of luck
  Tom

  Thanks Brad,
I think this poor elderly gentleman is going down that rosey path--he has
had only 2 weeks of training at their company. He came in today to
introduce himself and tell us he was coming to town. Apparently his son has
the Gold's Gym franchises and he will get their shirt orders as long as he
gives them to Gold's for $3.00 each---and, that includes the shirts! Boy,
doesn't everybody wish they had him for a son!!! I think this was
screenprinting however---still wouldn't get my business!
Thanks,
Sharon
