I have the OS 7.00.055 and the under the "Thread Feed" tab I have the following options/settings: Column Feed: 40 Run/Fill Feed: 100 Material Thickness: 4 Autofeed Lower Limit: 1 Could someone please explain more about these settings and what they do and what they should be. I also have the Towa Bobbin Case Tension Gauge. The recommendation is 18-25. Does this sound right for the XT's? What does everyone find works best for ARC poly in the XT? I have version 7.00.055 and I do not have the lower actifeed minimum. I just have a setting for material thickness, but not for a minimum. When you find out the version, I would appreciate knowing it. Thanks! -Loyda ----- Original Message ----- From: Shuffletown Embroidery To: amayausers@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, September 14, 2007 4:14 AM Subject: [amayausers.com] Re: Acti-feed question - setting lower limits Thanks Aaron, I will call him today. I looked for information and did not see anything on the Melco support website. The latest release shown on the Amaya Users website is 7.00.055, so that's probably it. Select the Thread Feed Tab. At the bottom is a box for Autofeed Lower Limit I think is what it says. As far as version I can't remember which version it came out in. I am a Beta tester so I get stuff early to work out bugs so I have had this feature for a while now so its hard to remember when it came out but I am thinking it was 7.055 but don't quote me on this. I am now running 7.00.110 and I am not sure if this is a realeased version or not but I think it may be. If nothing else call your sales rep and see if you are eligible for the free upgrade or if you are past and have to pay. Its worth a shot. Here it is again. (see attached.) Since I can't find anything in my help section, I must not have the correct version of the software. I'm at 7.00.047. Perhaps the discussion wasn't on the board. Could someone repost where that setting is and which software version?
