Thank you Herb. Could you give me an example of settings for something specific? Umm, say, a heavy cotton hoodie . . . what would you change and why? Then an example for something lighter, like, general cotton sewing fabric. What would you change and why. I think the examples will help me wrap my head around the process. Thank you for sharing your knowledge! A larger number decreases the amount of thread being fed. This can be used as a fine tuning tool when setting your tensions (material thickness). Run/Fill Feed is the same thing except it applies to run stitches and fill stitches. Material Thickness is self explanatory. Autofeed Lower Limit. The gravy on the potatoes. I like to run this at one number under what I think the material thickness is. Prevents the machine from dropping to a lower material thickness than the setting you specify. Hope this helps.
