Hence, if your version of software if newer then that of your machine, chances are there could be some differences. It is at times like these that you should consult your tech. He or she will be able to explain what details apply to your situation and other information might be applicable for you that you can't find in any manual. (Like what other embroiderer's do in the "real world".) There are some embroiderers who are still running there early model machines with software from that era and Melco has made changes that would improve their machine's performance and/or longevity. If those folks don't check in with Melco or their tech from time to time, they will be missing out. My point here, rely on your tech for good information.
