Hey Alan,

OK,
So,
My first night launch experience at BR was about 5 years ago.
Someone put up a hundred LEDs on 4 inch chutes and purple LEDs that
played across the night sky for a long time.
It was my first experience at BR and with AeroPAC.
My life was changed somewhat. I decided I had to beat that somehow,
someday.
My Night Launch vehicle for this year is a Madcow Torrent. (somewhat
modified)
RGB LEDS on upper portion that will be doing a breakdance.
Gold painted ogive nosecone has a truly crazy strobe going.
And it will deliver 36 units at apogee that should be interesting to
watch coming down.
Keeping details of that last little bit to myself.
Stay safe all!

Waiver is good from 7am to 10pm with no stopping unless we run out of
rockets or the weather gets bad.

Fly it just before the sun sets.

Hi,
Actually I was planning on flying my first night flier at this years
XPRS. It’s a 5.5 Nike Smoke with 120 LED lights and an Aerotech K456DM
motor. But in looking at your list I now have a question.
The list says electronic deployment. Is that a requirement? I was going
to use the 14 second delay element that the motor comes with. Given the
max altitude, RocSim shows that to be just about right.
Thanks,
Gordon

Hello AEROPACERs,
For those of you who remember the spectacular night launch by ROC at
last year's XPRS and thought it was pretty cool...here is you chance to
be part of AEROPAC's reply.

So....
- If you are at least a Level 2 certified flier
- Have a 38mm or 54mm night launch rocket (or one that can be
converted)
- Your rocket has electronic deployment (only apogee needed)
- Want to be part of something really cool
- Will be at XPRS this year on Saturday night
- Willing to fly an ass kicking EX sparky special propellant motor....
Start getting your rocket ready to fly now or build a new one while you
probably have some spare time.
Demo flights at MUDROCK (or AERONAUT)
More details to follow soon.
