when I want to add a name to the address book I go to the menu bar then arrow over to tools, arrow down to address book and hit the enter key twice then the address book is open. Then hit control N and it will say properties starting with first name etc. Tab through the properties filling in the blanks until it says add hit the space bar and then enter you should have added the name to your list. Hope this helps -- blessings -- rob ----- Original Message ----- From: virginia powers To: adaptivetec@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Saturday, November 17, 2007 9:30 AM Subject: [adaptivetec] Re: question Lori The prompt goes back to the address book. Here is what I do from start to finish. 1. go to the address book 2. control n. 3. prompt says put in name, I arrow down to write in the address. 4. I then go to okay, and hit enter. I also tried going down to where it says add to address book. I have seen your name on adaptive for along time but I didn't know who you were because you got married. Patty told me who you were. I then went down to email address, I wrote adaptivetec@xxxxxxxxxxxxx then I went to okay and pressed enter. I'm missing a step I haven't had a lot of lessons, because it will not take it Thank you Charlene, ----- Original Message ----- From: Rob Simon To: adaptivetec@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, November 16, 2007 2:58 PM Subject: [adaptivetec] Re: question Virginia, go to the menu bar and arrow over to tools, then arrow down to address book hit enter twice and then control n and fill in the blanks happy holidays, blessings --- rob ----- Original Message ----- From: virginia powers To: adaptivetec@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, November 16, 2007 1:43 PM Subject: [adaptivetec] question How do put a hand typed address in the address book.
