[adaptivetec] Tell me why I should or shouldn't get a Pac Mate instead of a Braille Note

Hi , I've gotten voc Rehab to agree to buy me a Braille note taking device
and I went to a tech fair and saw both of them last week. I really liked the
Pac Mate over the Braille Note because I liked the keyboard size (I'm going
to use a standard, not a Braille keyboard) -- it was so much more like the
size of my laptop keyboard. I can type really fast on that and don't want to
be slowed down by the size of the keys on the Braille Note. Then I really
liked the fact the Pac Mate was using Windows. I'm a super busy person and
don't think I would have the time or patience to learn more operating
systems for the Braille Note. I also liked that the Pac Mate had a
detachable Braille display that I could use with my desktop or other
machines. So I'm writing all of this to see if anyone can give me honest
feedback, horror stories or any good rules of thumb about the decision I'm
about to make. All comments are welcome. Thanks, Stephanie
