I did know that gmail is supposed to delete stuff from trashafter 30 days, but A bunch of time I left emails in trash for waylonger then 30 days to test them and they did not go away. I havedone lots of googling about why they are not being deleted fromtrash, but I am getting nowhere.

Since you're using Gmail, and assuming you're using IMAP, anymessagesin your Trash folder will be deleted from the server after 30days orso. I know this doesn't answer your question, and you may notwant to

wait the 30 days, but just in case you didn't know.

For me, I have enough email to handle each day, I let Gmail do asmuch

of the work for me as possible.

You can use email clients for your PC and Mac, such asThunderbird, to

delete every message in a folder.

I just swipe up and it says delete on each email, then doubletap. guess

this would take time as well.

I've notice gmail doesn't offer a delete all button, but for mytx.rr.com

account, I can delete large amounts at once.

I have just got into the swipe up gesture and double tappingthough. I

guess
it all depends on amount of emails one has.

The way I do it is hit edit, then select all the messages Iwanna

delete. Then, I move them to my trash folder. Then, I go to my

trash, hit edit, and hit the delete all button near the bottomof

the screen. Sounds like a lot of steps, but it's quick and
effective.

Hi. I use the native mail app and I have it linked to multiple
gmail accounts. With the native mail app you have to find each
email in whatever folder it is in and select each email one at a
time and delete them and they are still not completely deleted
you have to go into the trash and select them all one at a time
and delete them a second time and then they are finally gone. Is

there an app with a select all button so I can just go to theall

mail folder, hit select all and then press delete and then go to
trash and hit select all and delete again instead of double
tapping on each email individually? I am ok with doing each

account separately, but I don't want to have to do each emailone

at a time. Will the gmail app or some other app do this? I just
want to delete all my emails off the server. Thank you.
