Once you have connected the iPhone and Apex through bluetooth to use as a braille display for the first time, it is easier to connect them again when you want to use the braille display again in the future. To do it the first time, turn on bluetooth on the Apex and then press backspace and enter and the letter t. If it asks you for a port then press b for bluetooth. Then quit pressing buttons on the Apex. Go to your iPhone and make sure bluetooth is turned on. Then go in to settings- general- accessibility- voiceover- braille. Find the Apex and double tap and type 4 0s, 0000, and press pair. You need to do the 4 0s and press pair fast or it will make you do it again. Then they will be connected. After that, you can press buttons on the Apex again. If you ever need to reconnect the 2 devices again, turn on bluetooth on the Apex and then press backspace and enter and the letter t. If it asks you for a port then press b for bluetooth. Then quit pressing buttons on the Apex. Go to your iPhone and make sure bluetooth is turned on. Then lock and unlock your iPhone and they should connect. After that, you can press buttons on the Apex again.

Hi;
I am trying to pair a braille note and i-pod. I am told that the code is correct and I should check to see if the braille note is turned on and ready. It is on and ready so wonder why I'm getting this message? I was able to pair the two prior to a braille note software update. Any ideas much appreciated.
