You must have JAWS 10 for IE8 to work properly.  Not sure of the state of 
Windoweyes.  IE8 is pretty much like IE7, so for me there was no compelling 
reason to upgrade, but I do like it.  One feature I like is when Internet 
Explorer crashes, when you restart it you get an option to restore the 
previous session.  This means  that all the tabs and windows you had open 
will just come right back.  That way you don't have to remember where all 
the pages were.  This helps when a person is running maybe five web sites at 
a time like I do when I'm working.  You can also find this feature on the 
tools menu.  Pretty cool.

I have updated and have no complaints. I believe that IE 8 is faster and
more stable than version 7.
