Thanks. I forget that people don't always use the latest version of their screen reader. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Reginald George" <adapt@xxxxxxxxx>

You must have JAWS 10 for IE8 to work properly. Not sure of the state ofWindoweyes. IE8 is pretty much like IE7, so for me there was no compellingreason to upgrade, but I do like it. One feature I like is when Internet Explorer crashes, when you restart it you get an option to restore the previous session. This means that all the tabs and windows you had open will just come right back. That way you don't have to remember where allthe pages were. This helps when a person is running maybe five web sites ata time like I do when I'm working. You can also find this feature on the tools menu. Pretty cool.----- Original Message ----- From: "Jamie Pauls" <jamiepauls@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <accesscomp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, August 06, 2009 10:01 AM Subject: [accesscomp] Re: Internet Explorer 8.0 I have updated and have no complaints. I believe that IE 8 is faster and more stable than version 7.----- Original Message ----- From: <lmp19@xxxxxxxx>To: <accesscomp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, August 06, 2009 12:24 AM Subject: [accesscomp] Internet Explorer 8.0Hello, I have a laptop with Vista as the OS and a desktop with XP Pro as the OS. Both computers have JAWS 10 as the screen reader. I was thinking of updating my IE 7 to Internet Explorer 8 and wanted to get opinions of those out there if it is worth updateing to IE8, if there are any issues with either XP or Vista running IE 8, and if it works well with JAWS10. I appreciate your opinions if it is worth updating to Internet Explorer 8...Thank you for your reccomendations...Lou ____________________________________________________________ Turn life into a beach with a new sandbox.
