Yes that is right, but I would sooner have a meter that tells me that than give me a reading 2.5 higher than what it is. I am going to check both of mine with my diabetic team on Thursday morning and that would tell me which one to use. If too little blood is put on the strip or too much you are not given correct readings so I think whichever one you use it is kind of hit and miss.
