the other difference is with the clever chek the blood goes on the strip, super chek2 you have to locate the blood and it sucks it up the strip.

Andrew, I've had the Clevercheck for about six months. How is the
supercheck2 better?
Cheers
Alex

Hi Barry this metre is the new one for the blind, I got this on
Monday last week, from the RNIB IT is the super chek2, it will replace
the clever chek. If you want the new meter phone the RNIB and just ask

for the super chek2 meter, they are free.

Hi Andy

I don't know about this specific machine, but I do know that a machine my
mum bought from Boots needed calibrating every couple of years. How old is
yours?

Cheers

Barry

Hi I am warning all Diabetics of a problem with the super check 2
Please be careful of the readings from this machine, I nearly landed
up in Hospital yesterday because of an inaccurate reading from the
machine. the super chek 2 told me my blood test was 6.3 and the old
meter gave me a reading of 3.8 which was more the right test reading.
I'm not saying don't use the machine but just be aware of the problem. I
have log a complaint with the RNIB I am just waiting for the product
department to contact me.
