Hi Ron,
You can un-mute the sound from the system tray, but I'm not sure how to get
there if you don't have JAWS. If you have sighted assistance, there is a
speaker icon in the system tray and when the sound is muted, it has a red
circle with a diagonal bar through it (like a road sign). If someone can
click on this then you can turn the sound back on.
