Phil,

This is commonly known as a bricked phone.

Take into your local phone shop and providing it's still within warranty
they should post it off to Nokia who'll either fix it or offer you a
refurbished N70.

Regards,
Barry.

Subject: [access-uk] urgent - updating N70 software

Hi,

Ever done something which seemed like a good idea at the time but which in
hindsight you greatly regret...!!

This evening I thought I'd try and get my N70 up to the latest firmware, I
went on to the Nokia PC suite tool, went to the "web" menu, downloaded the
Nokia phone update software, started going through the process however I'd
forgotten there was sometimes a dodgy connection with my Nokia USB cable and
part way through the update process it lost connection and now my phone is
dead, black screen, nothing happening.

So my question is have I wrecked my phone completely, is there any way I can
get it back and oh yes how much is rhis going to cost me - I was on the look
out for a new mobile but I didn't envisage having to do it so soon.

All help gratefully received.

Phil
