[access-uk] toshiba extra utilities

Hi all,
When I first explored my new laptop I discovered a lot of utilities have been
installed by the manufacturers Toshiba.
Apart from the dreaded Google toolbar and Google desktop, they all have Toshiba
in their title name. There is Toshiba pro alert for instance and 5 or 6 others
cluttering my desktop. I assume they are commonly installed to all Toshiba
laptop. Have any of you found these utilities useful? are any of them blind
user friendly or should they all be uninstalled without a second glance?
Is there a risk that uninstalling them would invalidate the guaranty?
