Derek Ok many thanks I did look on there and had a read up of it, sounds interesting I'm only thinking of one of these because I've bought in the last year four MFP printers and not one of them will scan my books one page at a time.

The freedom aside to take option is called Sarah as in scanning and reading appliance and uses a camera.
