Hi List:

a rather strange one this.

I have an HP 3550 ink jet printer. The problems are as follows.

it prints a test page perfectly, then, when I try to print a simple
document, half the letters are missing, and the line spacing is wrong. I've
tried cleaning and even replacing the cartrages, is there any other ideas
people have to explain this problem? Could it be a problem with the USB
cable to the printer? could it be a problem with the rollers, which could
cause the line spacing issues? or could it be the cartrages? Any
suggestions as to the cause of this greatly appreciated.
