Oh barbara I'm sorry to say Colleagues of the rnib have been explaining the
pen friend issues ever since they came up.
Alison, John and I are on this list. Maybe even many more and we do try to
explain as best as we possibly can.
If you havn't had a personal phone call then you've heard over this list for
example what is going on about the delivery with the pen friend!
After all this is why mailing lists are created for good communication.

Best wishes, madleen

Hi Karl

Perhaps you have a point that we are always too quick to slam the RNIB. I
can only say people are entitled to air their frustrations if they feel the
need.

As for the delayed orders. I shop online all the time and appreciate that
things do happen which delay dispatches, however, any other retailer would
Email the customer and let them know of the delay. Great for you if you have
received a phone-call, but I and many others on this list have not been so
fortunate. If I got an Email explaining the delay I would be more than happy
to accept any apologies and wait, but no Email has come.
