Hi John,

I prefer IMAP to POP if I'm using more than one device as I know all my
messages/folder structures will appear everywhere, without having to use
annoying workarounds like leaving messages on the server for a second device
to download and consequently having to get rid of duplicates as can be the
case with POP.

Plusnet offers both IMAP and POP. Apart from the account type, the only
setting you need to change is the incoming mail setting, which goes to
imap$plus$net. SMTP stays as relay$plus$net <http://relay.plus.net/>, and
changing the account type will set the port numbers correctly.

Cheers,

Ed

0was Hi John,

0was An Office 365 account is a business account I believe. You can still
have your emails sync across devices (whether they're running Office 365 or
another mail client such as Apple Mail). You will need to use Plusnet's IMAP
service for this to happen, as opposed to POP3 which will just download mail
to one device.
