Sorry Dave, I have re-read this, to leave on server just take the choice to
delete from phone and do not arrow down like I said for the option to delete
from phone and server. This way the e-mail will come in again when you go jin
to your e-mails on the PC.

  Hi Eleanor,

I am very embarrassed. I did not realize that the clear key was also a delete
key. The sequence I was using was soft key 1 for options then arrow down twice
to actions, then select then up arrow to delete, then select, and finally soft
key 1 for yes. This gives a total of 7 key presses. I will now go away and find
why I don't get the option to leave on server.

  Thanks for your help

  Dave

Dave I am a little confused, what do you mean by it taking you half a dozen
key presses to delete an e-mail. Do be specific so we can help. If I read an
e-mail and then I want to delete it, I will press the delete key and then I am
asked if I want to delete from phone and if I arrow down one I am asked if I
want to delete from Phone and server. Generally I choose the latter as most
e-mails may not require a response or I may choose to answer it and then delete
it. Those I want for further reference, I leave on my phone so that when I
come to my PC e-mail they will download there. Once they download to the PC
when I connect to the e-mail again on the phone they are sucked away and will
no longer be on the phone.

    Hi list,

I'm in the process of learning to use a nokia 86 with talks 5.01. I set up
the e-mail using the wizard and everything worked fine. At this point I
realized how many emails I receive a day!. since deleting seems to involve
around half a dozen key presses, maintain the emails would keep me permanently
busy. I tried using pc-suit to synchronize the phone with my desk top (windows
7 64 bit and windows live mail) only to find that wlm is not supported. I then
decided to set up a new email account using the option within BT-internet to be
used for the phone alone. I tried to change the username and password using
menu/tools/settings/email. I found I could change the username but not the
password ( the option did not appear to be there). My phone is still receiving
emails using the original account! I am baffled - any ideas? How do you
relaunch the email wizard once an account has been set up?

    Dave
