Hi Eleanor.

Well, I would of course not put my wife's license of jaws on any machine I'd cell, it would only be in 40 minute mode as we'd use the dongle when setting up the computer to go.

All the best, Ibrahim.

Oh no, that's fine Ibrahim, I shall not activate my new JAWS on that many machines <smiles>.

I recall you advertising a netbook on the 2nd hand zone amd one verye entising amd appealing feature which would attract a blind person was where you said you would even load JAWS so that it was talking amd ready to go out of the box. I was going to comment on that list at the time but just let it go. JAWS is a single-user unless you purchase a multiple lisence. Seems to me that you amd your wife are sharing the one liscence amd fair enough as you are sharing the same home amd I can see the sence to that.

Hi Chris.

Well, apparently we've had so many activations, 9 or something I think so
Tristrum said that they disabled ILM licensing on our account because we had a dongle. Unfortunately, we've had jaws on 6 machines and they thought we were abusing the ILM system, something I don't agree with but there we are. We've used jaws on 3 netbooks and 3 laptops so far as we were transissioning to new machines so have used it on both old and new computers if you follow me. We finally got FS to reactivate ILM licensing on the condition that one of us uses the dongle and my other half uses the ILM. That about explains it in rough terms. If you want more info, please get in touch off list and
I'll be happy to explain this more thoroughly to you.

All the best, Ibrahim.

Have you considered contacting Sight and Sound to see if they will resolve
the issue for you? Oh groans, hope I don't run into this problem when I
get my JAWS upgrade.

Hi Everyone.

If anyone uses a dongle to authorize their copy of jaws, can they please
tell me whether they've successfully been able to authorize jaws with the
dongle plugged in to a USB docking solution or port expansion product?
I've an ILM license currently on both my machines, but because we've had
so many resets because of technical issues freedom scientific are getting difficult and are reluctant to reset our activation count. Understandable
but irritating never the less.

All the best, Ibrahim.
