I have had something similar happen to me before and triple tapping the side
button to enable speech has worked but only after I've done it several times
in a row so give that a try. Cheers! Graham

Caroline, nothing. As I say I've powered down the phone and turned it on
again but still just clicks. I really don't want to reset the phone if I
don't have to.

It sounds as if you might have turned speech off. If so, try a three-finger
double tap which will turn speech back on.

Hi folk,
I phoned a friend and ever since my oiphone 13 is only making clicking
sounds, I've told serie to turn voice over off and on but no joy. I powered
down the phone with the side button and volume control, turned it on again
and still the same. I'm at a loss. My husband who has sight turned voice
over on and off in accessibility but nothing, just the clicks. Any ideas, I
can't use the phone at all.
