Hi
Yes I realised it was a subscription based program, and I
know there was a new release on Monday of version 14.5 and I
paid for this last week and wanted to make sure I had
installed it. I checked the help menu, I cannot see an about
button, neither nvda or super nova can access that. I have
jaws 16 demo installed, I will try with that later on.

Good morning Adrien
System Mechanic is a subscription based products, so it
doesn't really matter, you will always be using the latest
version. If there is a new version available, you will be
prompted to update when it is released. If you want to find
out the current version of system mechanic you have
installed, click on the help menu and select about system
mechanic. I hope this answers your question and please do
not worry about the download link they supplied you, you are
always able to get the latest version from the download
page on www.iolo.com.
