I'm using outlook 2000, but dont' know whether that makes any difference or

Hi, I've had no problems subscribing, unsubscribing, etc, from lists run by
Freelists using Outlook Express/Windows Mail using my Gmail account via Pop,
so this could be a specific issue to do with either your e-mail client, your
e-mail provider, or a combination. Hope that helps.
