Hi Jim.
Its totally subjective as to how much you want to spend and what your
looking for. May I ask firstly what exactly you want to use the drive for?
Are you just looking for a cd rom drive for instance or are you looking to
watch dvd's, burn cd and dvd disks and so on.

I have a Samsung nc10 net book and I'm on the look for an external cd /
dvd writer. I've had a look on sites such as amazon and althought the
prices, £35 to £45, seem reasonable, I see mixed reviews about such
proeducts.
What's your experience?
I'm open to suggestions.
