Hi

Ok I will have a look for you, you have to be careful
though. All I can suggest though is that your frined
uninstall skype, go to the drive c assuming that is the
letter of the main drive, and remove all folders concerning
skype, reboot the pc and try reinstalling skype. It is a
strange one though, I am wondering if windows up-dates cause
these kind of problems. Perhaps do a system restore first so
you can always go back if it doesn't work. The other option
is to get help from Microsoft via skype support on their
website.

Regards

Adrien

Hello,

I don't want to highjack the thread, but I am having a
similar problem. As I
reported a few days ago (just sending again in case there's
someone out
there that didn't see the post) a friend is having trouble
starting skype
because, according to skype, a DLL is missing, so I could
also do with
knowing where to download a dll file that is safe. Unlike
yyou, I cn't even
find anything pertaining to the file that is missing apart
from some skype
community threads in spannish.

Just in case anyone can help the dll file in question is
dxvaz.dll.

So if anyone can help both of us about this it'd be really
appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hi

Ok I have googled the problem I am having, I see loads of
web pages with
fixer tools, but I don't know what is genuine, does anyone
have any idea how
I know what is a good site for grabbing Microsoft dll files
from?

Adrien
