It is recommended that an extension lead is not used with broadband but I've
got my pc connected to the socket by a cable long enough to go from the far
corner of one room to the far corner of the next and it seems to be working
fine.

hi guys, can some one please tell me if it is possible to move a computer
system from one room to another, the Internet is provided by a cable
company.
Is it possible for someone to do this on their own, or would it be better
to get the cable company into do the job, and pay over the odds to get it
done.
I also have my telephone, Broadband, and Television through the telewest
Cable Company.
Finally, what kind of Cabling will be needed if it is possible to do it on
you're own.
