There could be reasons for it such as having Bluetooth or wireless LAN switched on. But even at that, I wouldn't expect a battery to do that. What I was told when I got my unit was to charge the battery a few times and run it down so that it calibrated it properly. I have two batteries and have done this with both of them so that I get a fairly accurate reading. I have Bluetooth and wireless LAN switched on, and I find the life of the batteries very good. Perhaps I've been lucky for a change? (smile).
