Darran, that name sounds familiar, except it doesn't have any SCARTS on it.Just to make it a bit more complicated still, I've also got a Digital Sender in the TV cabinet which works by remote control. You plug your DVD, video, Sky or Freeview boxes into that and it works in a similar way on the TV to how the other box I described works with phonos on the hi-fi. It has SCARTS on this device and two phonos.
You can see why the system is a bit complex, and why I just press buttons and leave the rest to Ian. When I press something and it doesn't work, I just shout: "Ian, your little techie wife needs assistance please," and hope for the best. (smile.)

Phil, perhaps you've got a digital out for your audio. Either an optical orcoaxial cable would be required in this case. Of course, you'd need the input for such a cable on your Hi-Fi as well. Oh, and I think the gadget Jackie's using is called a Skart switch box, in case you'd be interested in trying to track one down. Regards.
